Our Story

We are a country-wide movement developed to inspire and initiate people into responsible management of electronic waste. Our mission is to encourage every stakeholder to actively engage in thinking about the best ways in which they can collect, dispose and recycle E-waste, in a way that is environment friendly and also beneficial to the society at large.

We established ourselves as a registered company in 2017 and within less than two years are present nationwide in 28 states and 2 union territories.. We engage with corporates, individual customers, state IT departments, municipal corporations and the waste-pickers and managers in the informal sector to collectively manage e-waste. Our objective is three-pronged. First, to ensure that there is minimum harm being done to the environment due to waste generated from electronic products. Second, to optimise usage of an electronic product beyond its lifespan. Third, to create a formal industry of electronic waste management, where each stakeholder is not just made aware of the guidelines and cost related to electronic waste, but is also ensured social dignity in the process.

Stakeholders can sell or give away their electronic waste to us with the assurance that we will dispose off and recycle it through authorised channels with the most responsible technologies and processes. Assisting us in this ongoing journey are technology thought leaders like Apple, Dell, Hewlett Packard (HP) and Lenovo. Also helping us in our initiative is the International Finance Corporation (IFC) which is part of the World Bank group. Together we have developed several awareness programs and schemes to initiate a marked behavioral change. Our biggest achievement though, has been to formalise the informal sector, to integrate those at the grassroot level and educate them such that they engage with the larger electronic waste industry and grow with pride and dignity.
